Kameron Chattman (Team ICP) - Chattman had a productive morning. The 2014 6’5 guard shows signs of what he is capable of doing on a daily basis. Chattman displayed a nice shooting touch and controlled the ball well.

Jordan Bell (Team ICP) – The stat man must’ve stopped keeping track of Bell’s blocks this morning. Bell had way more than 9 blocks and is possibly one of the best shot blockers in the nation. One thing for sure is the 6’7 forward needs to really work on is his offensive game.

BeeJay Anya (Team Takeover) - Anya is a true big man who knows his role in the paint. The big man displays very soft hands with nice footwork in the post. Most scouting services have him as the #1 center in the class of 2013 and after watching him play you can understand why. It would be a great to see Okafor and Anya go at it in the paint.

Xavier Rathan Mayes (CIA Bounce) – The Canadian 2013 guard can shoot with the best in the nation. Not only can Mayes shoot but he can handle the ball well and find the open man.

Andrew Wiggins (CIA Bounce) – You could argue that Wiggins is the best player in the nation. Wiggins is so smooth with the ball and can be very explosive when he wants to be. Besides Jabari Parker you might not find another better guard in the nation. Those two will be facing off in Oakland at the 4th session of the Nike EYBL in Oakland, California.

Donovan Dorsey came on the scene this past summer. Playing with his AAU Team Mocha, Dorsey displayed an advanced level of play for his age. The 2014, 6-foot-5 point guard has the potential to be the best player in the state by the end of the year.

Dorsey is what you want out of a guard. A player with great court vision, who can attack the rim. Dorsey displays a nice mid-range jump shot and great body control. Defense wise, Dorsey is disciplined on the court.

Coaches from all over the country will know about Dorsey come next summer. Team ICP based out of Portland, Oregon is the AAU team Dorsey will play with. Washington, Seattle U, and UCLA have already shown interest.

Dorsey is flying under the radar right now. The potential is huge for this young man. Left Coast Recruiting will be following Dorsey’s recruitment very closely as well as his progress on the court.

6-foot-5 point guard Donovan Dorsey has a chance to be something special. Dorsey attends Timberline High School in Lacey, Washington. The lanky sophomore is a player to be reckoned with.

Left Coast Recruiting and Dawgman.com saw the young man at the Rose City Showcase in Portland, Oregon this past summer. Dorsey played for an AAU team called Team Mocha. Left Coast Recruiting saw Dorsey’s first game of his sophomore year on Wednesday.

Dorsey’s game has progressed quite a bit. Since we last saw him, Dorsey has attended several camps and has had some college coaches show interest.

“Washington, Seattle U, and UCLA have shown interest.”

Dorsey showed flashes of what he is capable of doing on a nightly basis. Still young, there are signs of hesitation in the young man’s game. At 6-foot-5, Dorsey’s point guard skills are rare. The scary thing is Dorsey is still growing.

Dorsey’s court vision, poise, and ability to score in different ways, is what makes him a threat on the court. His long wingspan disrupts the passing lanes. Defense is something that Dorsey takes pride in.

The scouting services and college coaches will get their chance to see Dorsey on the AAU circuit next summer. Dorsey will be playing with Team ICP based out of Portland, Oregon. Team ICP will have a young talented roster.

Left Coast Recruiting will be keeping up with Dorsey all year long. Stay tuned here for the latest up updates on the sophomore’s recruiting.
