2013 Zach Lavine made his college decision Wednesday night. It was no surprise the sharp shooter from Bothell, Washington chose UCLA. UCLA has been recruiting Lavine the hardest since he was a freshman. When Left Coast Recruiting asked Lavine on why he chose UCLA. Lavine replied with one simple answer “family”.
Lavine has a close knit family and many of them are out in the Los Angeles area where Lavine spends time during the summer. What Lavine brings to UCLA is a player who can put up points in a hurry from anywhere on the court. The 6’3 guard is going to be asked to play the point and shooting guard position at UCLA.
The Bruins have been recruiting well as of lately, especially with their 2012 class. For those who haven’t seen Lavine, make sure to check him out in July in Vegas during the live period.
