Q&A with 2013 Patrick Ball

2013 Patrick Ball is one of the hottest rising names in Seattle. He plays guard at Franklin High School and has recently made a name for himself as he as picked up plenty of minutes.

Left Coast Recruiting was able to catch up with Ball and ask him a few questions.

What is your height and weight?

6’4, 177

What position do you play?

Wing

What is your playing style?

I have an all-around or a slasher playing style. I look for chances to attack the rim. I think I am best in transition and drive and kick.

What colleges have talked to you?

Oregon State, Santa Clara, Gonzaga, and Seattle U.

Who is recruiting you the hardest?

Santa Clara.

How were you able to slip under the radar until the end of this season?

I think it’s cause I didn’t play the whole season last year and the select team I played with didn’t get much exposure. Now that I’m getting big minutes at Franklin people are taking a little notice.

What would you say you are looking for in a college?

I like the lights, I want to play in front of big crowds with great fans. I am looking for just a good atmosphere.

What AAU team will you be on this summer?

Most likely Seattle Rotary Select.

Thanks Patrick! He is now off to playoffs with his team and they will play the winner of Seattle Prep and Sammamish High School on Tuesday.
