Washington State head coach Ken Bone has been on a roll with his 2012 recruiting class. 6-foot-6 power forward, Richard Longrus chose to attend Washington State University tonight. The versatile forward, who can also play the wing, felt a nice vibe with the coaches.
“Being comfortable with the players and coaches was one of the motivators for me.”
The small town of Pullman has a nice sports fan base. Longrus enjoyed the rowdy fan base.
“You can’t’ beat the fan base they have down in Pullman. The whole city bleeds crimson and grey and I can’t wait to play in that atmosphere.”
Longrus is the third addition to the Cougar’s 2012 class. Ken Bone’s other commitments are Richard Peters and Brett Boese. October 22nd, Washington State could possibly get a commitment from Demarquise Johnson. Who is down to just three others in Washington, Gonzaga, and UNLV. There is a belief in Pullman that Johnson will also don the crimson and gray.
